It’s not that we don’t love other cars, because we do. Particularly fast ones. It’s just that what we love and appreciate about cars seems to be done best by the Germans. From an angry howl of M-Series straight-six, to a GT3 RS-induced sensory-overload, to a fun-packed Nurburgring lap in an RS4, to a big, luxury AMG saloon holding a 100 yard drift, to homologation-exoticness dripping from an classic eighties hot hatch…
BMW’s new V8 not M3 great
Without fear or safety net, I’m going to stick my neck out and say I prefer the previous generation BMW M3 to the new one. Yes, yes, I know new is supposed to be better and BMW’s M men always manage to wring out the very best from every lump of metal, plastic and carbon fibre they touch. But I just don’t like the new M3, I like the previous one.
